Team is where an organisation keeps track of the people who run its operations: who they are, which teams they belong to, when they are scheduled, whether they are on duty, and what each of them is allowed to do. Other modules read from it; for example Command Center shows who is on duty at a site, and Live Operations alerts are addressed to the people listed here.
Who can see it
An administrator sees every tab. A person who is not an administrator but holds the patrol-viewing permission sees only the Patrol Schedules tab. Everyone else sees a message that administrator privileges are needed. The Roles & Access tab is shown to administrators only.
The tabs
| Tab | What it contains |
|---|---|
| Overview | Workforce counts (on duty, available, on call, on leave), counts of teams, people and shifts today, and a Needs attention list. |
| Members | A searchable, filterable list of members with their status, role, team, duty state and site, an Invite Member command, and an export menu: PDF, CSV, and an Excel item that downloads a CSV count of people by platform access level. |
| Teams | Teams with their members and each person's team role and operational role; create, edit, activate, archive and delete. |
| Map | Where the workforce is, filterable by site, team, role and duty state. |
| Schedule | A calendar of planned shifts, with optional layers for actual activity, in Month, Week, Day and Agenda views, with a New shift command. |
| Attendance | Live attendance, Timesheets, Exceptions and Payroll. |
| Patrol Schedules | Scheduled patrols: create a schedule, generate occurrences, pause, resume and reassign. |
| Roles & Access | The organisation's operational roles, with General, Access, People, Teams and Sites views. |
Members and teams
Invite Member sends an invitation to an email address with a role. Members have a status of active, invited or suspended. Selecting a member opens a read-only detail panel showing readiness, training, operational status, assignment, qualifications, credentials and equipment.
Teams are the organisation's own groupings. Creating, changing and deleting a team writes to the organisation's records; the same teams can be created from Command Center. In Team, only administrators can use the Teams tab, and an editor who is not an administrator sees "Administrator Access Required" in place of the module (see Who can see it). Editors can create teams from Command Center.
Schedule and attendance
New shift adds a shift to the calendar. Creating shifts and viewing attendance depend on Mobile Operations being enabled for the organisation: attendance is recorded from the mobile application, and until that is enabled the Live attendance view says so and stays empty.
The Exceptions view lists attendance anomalies, which can be resolved or excused.
Map
The Map shows the workforce, but only where the organisation is entitled to see individual locations. Where it is not, the Map states that individual personnel locations are not authorised for the organisation and shows no people.
Roles and access
An organisation defines its own operational roles (for example a patrol officer or a supervisor), reorders them, and assigns them to people through their team memberships; the Teams and Sites views here are read-only. An operational role does not change a person's organisation-wide access role, which still decides what they may change, but it grants operational capabilities such as viewing patrol schedules. See Roles.
Updates
Attendance updates as presence sessions and anomalies change. Overview, Map and Attendance have a Refresh button; the other tabs reload when reopened.
