California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, gives you specific rights over the personal information a business holds about you. Use the form below to exercise the rights that apply to you.

Your rights

What you can ask us to do

Not every right applies to every person or every category of information. When we respond we will tell you which ones applied to your request.

Know and access
Ask what personal information we have collected about you, where it came from, why we collected it, and who we disclosed it to.
Delete
Ask us to delete personal information we collected from you, subject to the exceptions the statute allows.
Correct
Ask us to fix personal information about you that is inaccurate.
Opt out of sale or sharing
Direct us not to sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Limit sensitive information
Direct us to limit use and disclosure of sensitive personal information to what is necessary to provide the service.
Portability
Receive a copy of the personal information you provided to us in a portable format.
Non-retaliation
Exercise these rights without being denied service, charged a different price, or given a different level of quality.

Submit a request

Submit a Privacy Request

One right per submission. If you need more than one right exercised, send a separate request for each so that each can be tracked and answered on its own record.

Choose the right you want to exercise.

This helps us route the request and choose a verification method.

We use this to contact you about your request, including to verify it.

Only if it differs from the address above.

Are you a California resident?

We may still be able to help if you are not, but different rules will apply.

Please do not include passwords, government identification numbers, financial information, health information, or other sensitive information.

Virtik may contact you to verify your identity and process your request. We will only request information reasonably necessary to verify and fulfill the request.

What happens next

How we handle your request

  1. 01

    Acknowledgement

We confirm receipt and give you a request reference. Keep it: it is how you or an authorized agent can follow up.

  2. 02

    Verification

We may contact you to verify your identity before we act, and we ask only for what is reasonably necessary.

  3. 03

    Response

We aim to respond within 45 calendar days of receipt. If we need longer we will tell you why and when to expect a response.

Timelines run from the date we receive your request, not the date you sent it.

If this form is unavailable

If the form cannot record your request, do not treat it as filed. Use the contact page and choose the security and privacy route so a person receives it, and keep a record of the date you contacted us.

California Notice at Collection

This notice is given at or before the point of collection, as the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act requires. It covers information Virtik collects as a business — that is, where Virtik decides the purpose. It does not cover information an organization collects using Virtik in its own operations; for that, see §5.

Provided by Virtik USA, Inc., 113 N San Vicente Blvd, Beverly Hills, CA 90211, United States.

Sensitive personal information. We do not collect sensitive personal information as CCPA defines it for our own purposes, and we do not use or disclose any for purposes requiring a right to limit. Where you volunteer something sensitive in a support message, we use it only to answer you.

2. How long we keep it

For as long as necessary for the purpose stated above, then deleted or de-identified, subject to legal retention and to preserving evidence for legal claims. Virtik states no specific period; the Data Retention and Deletion Schedule (LEG-022) states the position.

3. Sale and sharing

Virtik does not sell personal information for monetary consideration.

Certain advertising or analytics activity may constitute "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law, depending on which services are enabled. Those categories are off by default and run only with your consent. You can review and change them at /privacy/choices, and we honour the Global Privacy Control browser signal — where it is present we treat it as an opt-out, it cannot be overridden by a weaker cookie preference, and you do not need to submit anything.

We do not have actual knowledge that we sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.

4. Your rights

You may request to know, access, delete, correct, or port your personal information; opt out of sale or sharing; limit the use of sensitive personal information where applicable; and not be retaliated against for asking.

An authorized agent may act for you. We may verify your identity and the agent's authority, and we will ask only for what is reasonably necessary. We will not require you to create an account to make a request.

5. What this notice does NOT cover

Where an organization uses Virtik to run its own security operations — cameras, detections, patrol tracking, incident records — that organization is the business and Virtik is its service provider. Virtik processes that information only on the organization's documented instructions.

If your image, location or activity was captured by an organization using Virtik, your CCPA request goes to that organization, not to Virtik. We will assist them in responding. We generally cannot identify you across a customer's data, and searching every customer's tenant to look for you would itself be a privacy intrusion.

6. Changes

We will post a new version with a version number and effective date and keep prior versions available.

Language. This notice is drafted in English. Translations are provided for convenience. In the event of a conflict, the English version controls, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
