Virtik

Cookie policy

What Virtik stores in your browser, why, and how to change your mind. Everything optional is off until you turn it on — in every country, not only where the law requires it.

Awaiting Virtik approval

What is and is not final on this page

The technical inventory below is accurate and current: it lists what this site actually stores today and which consent category governs each item.

The formal legal instrument — controller identity, retention commitments, international transfer mechanisms and your statutory rights — is being finalised by Virtik and has not been approved or published yet. This page is marked noindex until it is. We would rather tell you the mechanism truthfully now than publish placeholder legal language you might rely on.

Categories

What each category covers

These are the same four categories shown in the preference centre.

  • Essential

    Always on

Required for the site to work: page delivery, security, and remembering the privacy choices you make here. These cannot be switched off, and we do not use them to build a profile of you.

  • Performance

    Off by default

Measures how quickly pages load and where errors occur, so we can fix what is slow or broken. Aggregate only — it is about the page, not about you.

  • Analytics

    Off by default

Tells us which pages people find useful and where they get stuck, so we can improve them. Used to understand the site as a whole, not to identify you.

  • Marketing

    Off by default

Remembers which campaign or link brought you here, so we can tell which of our own efforts are worth continuing and route your enquiry to the right team. Turning this off does not restrict anything on the site.

Everything this site stores

Virtik uses no advertising pixels, session replay, heatmaps, chat widgets or social embeds. There is one optional third-party analytics provider, described below, and it loads only if you turn Analytics on. If you do not, the items in this table are everything this site stores.

NameCategoryStoragePurposeRetention
virtik.consentEssentialLocal storageRemembers the privacy choices you make, the schema version they were made under, and when. Without it we would have to ask you on every page.Until you clear it or change your choices
NEXT_LOCALEEssentialCookieRecords the language version of the site you opened. It is set automatically by the site's language routing and holds a language code only. One year
virtik.campaignMarketingSession storageIf you arrived from a campaign link, records which one, so an enquiry can be routed to the right team and we can tell which of our own efforts are worth continuing.Cleared when you close the tab

Two of these use browser storage rather than cookies, so they are not transmitted to a server on every request. The language cookie is sent with each request and holds a language code only. None is used to build a profile, and none is shared with a third party.

Optional third-party analytics

If you enable Analytics, this site loads Metricool, a third-party website analytics provider, from tracker.metricool.com. It is never loaded before you enable it: with Analytics off, no Metricool script is requested, no connection to Metricool is made, and Metricool stores nothing in your browser.

What Metricool stores once you enable it is determined by Metricool, not by Virtik. It is not listed in the table above because we do not publish retention periods for storage we do not control.

You can switch Analytics off again at any time using the controls below. No further Metricool code is loaded from that moment on; reload the page to clear anything already running.

Changing or withdrawing your choices

Cookie settings in the footer reopens the preference centre on any page. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it, takes effect immediately, and does not restrict anything on this site.

Clearing your browser storage also clears your choices, and you will be asked again on your next visit.

Global Privacy Control

If your browser sends a GPC signal, marketing stays off regardless of what is selected in the preference centre. Virtik does not sell personal information; the signal is honoured so that any future integration inherits the refusal by default.
